The Huawei watch leaks created a huge hype but the official announcement has been made and the leaks were true. The Huawei watch has been launched at the Mobile World Conference 2015, its a round android wear smartwatch with a 286ppi 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen with gold, sliver and black color options.
It has a Qualcomm 1.2 Ghz processor, 512MB RAM, a 6-axis motion sensor and a heart rate monitor. It will use Bluetooth LE to pair with you android phone. It will be sold in over 20 countries. The exact pricing and availability will be available later.
Huawei also launched a new fitness band the TalkBand B2. Huawei claims it offers better and more accurate fitness tracking as compared to the predecessor. It has a vertical display which looks more like a watch face when compared to the horizontal one in the B1, but its going to be limited to just showing basic things like the steps, time and the band mode.You can pop the band out of the strap and use it as a Bluetooth ear piece, it is expected to give 6hours of talk-time or almost 2 weeks of standby time.
