Dell Venue 7 & 8 Getting 4.4.2 KitKat Today

According to the Dell community forum and XDA, the Dell Venue 7 & 8 will be getting the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update today. However they say it will break root on the device. As the 4.3 update for the devices came out simultaneously so its a good bet it'll happen again this time.

To update follow the steps below:

1) Go to settings. 

2) Then About Tablet.
3) Then System Update

4) You should be notified about the update and it should start downloading

So go ahead check for the update and enjoy :)
