Sony announced the Xperia Z4 tablet and now it's time for a smartphone and here's one. Sony launched an all new waterproof, 64bit mid range Xperia device i.e. the Xperia M4 Aqua. It includes a 64 bit Snapdragon 615 SoC which is a quad-core processor with 4 cortex A53 cores out of which 2 are clocked at 1.7GHz and the other 2 at 1.0GHz.
The device comes with IP65 certification which is good (for waterproofing) and IP68 dust protection. However the 720p 5Inch display is adequate but in the age of Full HD and Quad HD it may be a problem for some. The anticipated pricing is 299 euros but Sony is not announcing the availability and price as of now.
The Xperia M4 Aqua looks like a promising device and I guess it could pull Sony out of it's problems but only time will tell. So what are your thoughts about the Xperia M4 Aqua?
